Approval of an Agreement engaging Dunlap and Associates, Inc. to provide Dania Beach with financial advisory services in order to prepare, solicit, select and obtain loan financing for the City’s planned and approved Capital Projects and Equipment purchases in the 2010/11 budget. Dunlap and Associates was recently engaged as financial advisor to the City of Oakland Park through a competitive solicitation and selection process. The City of Dania Beach loan financing plans include funding for substantial Stormwater infrastructure improvements in the coming year. |

Agreement provides that the cost of financial advisory services is predominantly tied to the amount of actual City loan borrowing. The Agreement provides for an annual advisory stipend of $6,000 that will be paid from the Stormwater professional services account. |
